Having been a founder member of Philips' wearables and Intelligent Fibres team resulting in the first wearable electronics innovations she has always been at the fore of innovative thinking.
As a visionary part of the team at WGSN for 4 years, Philippa turned her attention to the role of Innovation & Forecast Consultant for Stylesight leader in online trend forecasting for the design industry as well as continuing to consult to a series of key companies across automotive, telecommunications and fashion on future-casting projects. Latterly Philippa has taken up the role of Innovation and Futures Consultant at Unique Style Platform a new trends service that offers intelligent analysis to the fashion and style industries.
Forecasting and tracking key innovations, trends and cultural developments that will impact design thinking across all design disciplines she is also senior visiting lecturer at Central St Martins Textiles Futures MA and has recently accepted a residency at Chelsea College of Art where Philippa uses her wide reaching knowledge and experience to influence future thinking. Philippa is also co founder and Director at Future-Filter a trends and innovation agency primarily for FMCG clients.
